The Port of Seattle, one of the most important ports in the United States, handles thousands of ships and carries countless containers every day. These containers are being stored in the industrial area of the Duwamish Valley.

This project uses these containers as a medium to increase community engagement with Food Lifeline, such as food trucks, bio-fuel shuttle, and other infrastructures in the community. The Food Lifeline site is the centerpiece of the project, and the containers will be used as a vehicle to expand the community’s food digestion and service system to support the South Park community. The FOOD CO. project will also provides more job opportunities for low-income people in the community.
