In this workshop, students presented on their Project 1 topic they were researching and documenting within the Duwamish Valley. In a gallery style format, participants met with students to ask questions, provide feedback, and identify anything important that might be missing and required more documentation.

During the final hour, students and participants broke out into small working groups to co-define and brainstorm what Just Circular Communities mean. The purpose of this was to begin to establish a shared understanding of the core components behind Just Transition, Circular Economy, and develop the mission, vision, and values behind the JCC. This co-creating session was only the beginning, and the ideas were further developed in the following workshops.
